Blazing Christmas

A word from Blaze at Christmas.

Well, what a year it has been for us here at Blaze. By working closely with the leading charities in the UK and abroad, we have managed to smash through the audacious targets we had set for ourselves and raise an amazing £1.7 million pounds for worthy causes between December 2004 and now, based on our clients figures of money pledged and raised.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everybody who has been involved in helping us achieve that fantastic amount and say that you have helped us to help so many other people all over the UK and the world.

Your courage in taking that 'first step' and going beyond 'just thinking about it' has hopefully impacted not only the lives of all the recipients of your selfless generosity but also, we hope, has had a resonance in your own lives too.

Here at Blaze HQ our walls are lined with many letters and touching notes from our 'extended firewalking family' the world over saying how the training they experienced has helped them to overcome their personal fears and phobias or put something in their mind back into perspective.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." - Nelson Mandella

We all feel privileged to have been a part of your personal journey and we thank you for being part of our present.

And we invite you to be a part of our future.

Sincerely,

PS. The future? Well, lets see.....we have work booked in Jo'burg South Africa on New Years eve ( Thanks Mhopoto!) Mumbai in January, Bahrain in February,Paris in March....already have 6 TV shows 'in the can' being shown throughout 2006....4 magazine articles coming through...and a 'fly on the wall' style documentary being made by channel 4, following us around for 6 months ( that should be interesting....er...) A couple of jobs booked in L.A and Texas..and Seattle..so it looks like we are well on our way towards our impossible dream of Blaze events all over the world and £100 million raised in the next 21 years. Fingers crossed :-)
